Hyundai Motor India, after having teased the 2024 Creta multiple times, has now revealed the design of the upcoming model, which is slated to be launched on January 16, 2024. The manufacturer has released new design sketches of the SUV, revealing more details, including that of the new front fascia and rear profile.
2024 Hyundai Creta: Exterior
As we already know, the 2024 Creta will sport a fully revamped front fascia, featuring a wide and sleek three-row parametric black chrome grille, distinctive from the parametric jewels found in other models within the company’s lineup.Furthermore, the updates include modified projector LED headlights, H-shaped LED DRLs, a fresh bumper, and vertically-stacked fog lamps. Overall, the SUV’s front appearance is notably bulkier and boasts a more assertive upright stance compared to the outgoing model.
Moving to the rear, the SUV features connected LED taillamps, a sporty roof-mounted spoiler, a redesigned bumper with block-like details, contributing to the overall enhanced appearance. The side profile features a dynamic alloy wheel design.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Powertrain
The 2024 Creta will come with three engine options, retaining the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units from the outgoing model. In addition, a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine sourced from the new Verna will replace the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor, which was discontinued in February last year. The updated Creta will be available with four transmission options to choose from – a 6-speed manual, IVT, 7-speed DCT, and a 6-speed automatic.
The new Creta will be available in seven trims, bookings for which have already commenced for a token amount of Rs 25,000.
