The 2024 iteration of the SUV features a host of upgrades over the outgoing model such as a refreshed design, convenience and safety feature upgrades and more. The SUV now features 36 standard safety features and over 70 advanced safety features, including six airbags, electronic stability control, and a surround view monitor.
The company has also introduced the SmartSense Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with the new Creta that offers a suite of safety features, including forward collision warning, blind-spot view monitor, and smart cruise control, among others.
In terms of engine options, Hyundai has introduced a new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor, which replaces the previously used 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. This new engine is exclusively paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Besides that, the 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol and 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel engines from the previous model remain unchanged, offering both manual and automatic gearbox options as before.
