Hyundai Motor India has hiked the prices for the 2024 Creta for the first time since its January 2024 launch. Ever since its debut, the model has continued to be a fan-favourite SUV in India. In fact, in February, the first full month of sales after its launch, the manufacturer reported that the model has achieved its highest-ever sales on our shores since its inception in 2015.
2024 Hyundai Creta price hike: Details
The new Creta debuted in January with a starting price of Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom. Now, with immediate effect, Hyundai has decided to hike the prices of petrol models by Rs 3,500. However, the prices for the E MT, SX (O) Turbo DCT, and SX (O) Turbo DCT Dual Tone trims stay the same.
For the diesel trims on the other hand, with the exception of the SX (O) AT and SX (O) AT Dual Tone variants, the prices have been raised by Rs 10,800.

The updated Creta can be had with the option of three engine choices: a 115 hp, 144 Nm 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 116 hp, 250 Nm 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, and a new 160 hp, 253 Nm turbo petrol engine. There are various gearbox options available, including a 6-speed MT, iMT, CVT (iVT), 6-speed AT, and a 7-speed DCT.
In other developments, Hyundai achieved its best-ever sales in the fiscal year 2023-24, clocking a total of 7,77,876 units, boosted by the arrival of models such as the Creta and all-new Exter.
