2024 Yezdi Adventure launched in India at Rs 2.10 lakh: What’s new

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the updated Yezdi Adventure in the Indian market. The new ADV gets minor cosmetic upgrades, new colour options with graphics and also mechanical upgrades over the previous model. The price for the ADV now ranges between Rs 2.10 lakh to Rs 2.2 lakh, based on the colours and prices are ex-showroom. It should also be noted that the new Yezdi Adventure is about Rs 6,000 cheaper than the outgoing model.

First, let’s talk about the engine and gearbox, the updated model is now powered by a new Alpha 2 engine and Yezdi claims it has improved durability and is more refined than the outgoing model.The company also claims that the heat management has been improved, the exhaust header is now centrally routed due to which the coolant flow is optimised and it’s also placed behind the airbox. Talking about the displacement and power, it’s a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which puts out 29.68bhp of power and 29.84Nm torque and it comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of design, the ADV gets few cosmetic changes. It gets new colours and new graphics on the fuel tank and also the tank rails are new and smaller than the outgoing model. It also gets a redesigned bash plate with an integrated sump guard. The suspension setup remains the same as before, it gets a telescopic front fork with rubber gaiters and a mono-shock setup at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes on both ends.

Talking about features, the ADV gets an LED headlight, LED tail-lamp, digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, USB charger, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and more. The bike is offered in four colour options – Tornado Black (Rs 2.10 lakh), Magnite Maroon (Rs 2.13 lakh), Wolf Grey (Rs 2.16 lakh) and Glacier White (Rs 2.20 lakh). Except for Tornado Black, all other colours are dual-tone options. The ADV directly competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. However, when compared with pricing the new Yezdi Adventure also goes up against the Royal Enfield Scram 411 and the Suzuki V-Strom SX.
