Friday’s showdown between Gahanna Lincoln and Pickerington North might not be the only game that determines the Super 7 high school football poll championship.
Hilliard Bradley has jumped North and moved to No. 2 in the poll heading into Week 10. If No. 3 North wins at No. 1 Gahanna, will it jump to first in next week’s final rankings? Or, will Bradley move to No. 1 if it beats visiting Dublin Coffman and Gahanna loses? Gahanna has led every poll since the preseason.
Gahanna and North are both 9-0 and 4-0 in the OCC-Ohio, so their matchup also will determine the league champion. Bradley (9-0, 4-0) already has clinched the OCC-Central title.
The three teams also are battling for the No. 1 seed in the Division I, Region 3 playoffs.
In the only other change from last week’s Super 7, Olentangy and Canal Winchester swapped spots at the bottom of the poll even though both won in Week 9.
