Although New York is home for now, Jasevice still spends a lot of time in Europe, and travels frequently to Los Angeles for work. It means that getting dressed in whatever zip code she’s in requires ease and efficiency; having pieces that not only work with each other, but can easily adapt to different climates, too. “I love finding items that you can wear in multiple ways because I hate checking in a suitcase,” she says of her packing strategy, adding that she’s a proponent of rewearing items, like a sweater, multiple days in a row. (In fact, her most worn item is a linen Prada skirt that she bought four years ago and photographed for this series, as well.)
This measured approach mirrors how she shops as well: she always starts with a list of what she needs (“Is it new flats, sneakers?”) and might like to update for the season ahead. “I like to try things in person, take pictures, and then sleep on it,” she says. She’ll then look back at the photos and see if what she’s eyeing will work with the rest of her seasonal wardrobe before making the final call. Shoes and accessories are what she tends to splurge on most, using them to build out her seasonal wardrobe that’s largely made up of staples from the brands she represents.
As considered as Jasevice may be about the pieces she adds to her closet, she does appreciate a little surprise every now and then—a recent one being a Bottega Veneta clutch that her husband got for her birthday after they watched American Gigolo together. (Jasevice mentioned loving the burgundy one Lauren Hutton carried in the crook of her arm—and he took note!) “It was something I would probably never buy myself, so it’s nice to get those small things from your close ones that then remind of you them.”

Clean Lines and Bold Hues Make for a Power Combo
This is definitely an office look for when I know I’ll have in-person meetings and maybe something after work as well. It’s something that is comfortable yet a bit more dressed up and playful because I know I’ll be doing something after work. I would normally just wear these pants with a white, long-sleeve top but to make it a bit more interesting and dressed up in my own way, I added a red top instead. The shoes are slightly heeled, which I feel is always nice when you have meetings or events; just you carry yourself slightly differently. In the summer, I would wear these pants with a T-shirt and sandal or a flat shoe, like a loafer and it would be way more casual than it is now.

Go Tonal, But Add Texture
This is a no-brainer look for me because it’s just so simple: good black jeans, belt, a T-shirt, and a leather jacket. I feel like it’s such a New York look because you never know with the weather—sometimes it’s cold in the morning but then you can take the jacket off and just be in the T-shirt and jeans. It’s also really comfortable. I feel like the shoes make it a bit more interesting, smarter, and a bit more dressy, too, because jeans can sometimes feel too casual. I almost feel like with shoes like these pointy ballet flats from Row, it makes jeans look like pants in a way. I also love wearing a lot of black. That’s just another no-brainer for me. If I literally have three minutes to get ready, I know I’ll wear all black, but then mix different textures and materials. The denim here is washed; the T-shirt is cotton, and the jacket is leather. Playing with these textures and materials makes it more interesting and gives it the dimension it needs when it’s all a single color. And then with accessories like a gold necklace, gold-buckle belt, it makes the look feel a bit more dressed up, like you put some effort in.

For the Love of Knits
I wasn’t always a big dress person. I think I only became one a couple of years ago again because I had more events to attend to; I travel and go out more and was looking for something that was super easy to pack, unpack, and put on. I’ve found that knitted dresses are amazing, whether it’s a thicker, more oversized, loose dress in winter with boots and a belt, or something like this pleated Maria McManus dress that when you walk, opens up to the side and is really beautiful. You don’t need to steam it or do anything with it, which I think is great. And I feel like Maria does really, really good dresses like that. All my knitted dresses are either from her or this amazing brand, Casasola. I wouldn’t wear this to the office on a super casual day, but maybe when I have an event to go to after or on date night [with my husband].

Suiting, With a Twist
I love a good suit and like to update it from time to time, whether it’s with a three-piece set, or in this case, with an elongated jacket from Veronica de Piante. The length is between a coat and your usual blazer, which I love and feel like it looks so ’90s-inspired when it’s closed. But then when you wear it open, it gives it completely different vibe. This look is for days when I know I have more meetings outside of the office and will be running around town; easy, comfortable loafers are always a must.

Shades of White
So this is probably my most worn look ever in my life—I’m not joking. I love this Prada skirt so much. There are so many times I thought it was done for because I would stain it in some horrible way, but somehow the dry cleaners always manage to take the stains out. I pack this skirt on every trip and wear it everywhere: on holiday, to work, to events. My favorite way to style it is very simple. There is something about wearing all black or creams and whites together that I think just looks very fresh but also very polished.

Easy Separates Does It
This is something I’d wear a lot on the weekends, but also on days to the office when there are fewer meetings and it’s just more of a quiet day. It’s a very easy look. Lately I’ve been into more of a brown/khaki pant versus black, so this is just really an update to my weekend/lazy office day look where I’d wear pants and sneakers, plus a sweater and jacket. The jacket, which is a vintage Loro Piana from The Real Real has been really handy—especially now that it’s been raining so much in New York. It’s lightweight, but also just super comfortable. And then I have just a big bag to fit everything in.
