Nauticam has unveiled its latest housing for Sony cameras, the NA-ZVE1. Unlike previous models in the Alpha 7 series, this housing is designed for the vlogger-targeted Sony ZV-E1. The ZV-E1 features a full-frame sensor and shares many similarities with the high-end a7S III and FX3 cameras. It can capture 4K/60p 10-bit 4:2:2 video with no crop, and an upgrade to 4K/120p with a slight 1.1x crop is promised in the near future. The NA-ZVE1 housing, made from machined aluminum, incorporates typical videocentric features of Nauticam, such as ergonomically arranged controls, an M24 bulkhead for attaching external recorders or monitors, and compatibility with Nauticam’s range of water contact optics. The NA-ZVE1 is priced at $3,251 and will be available soon from retailers like Backscatter.

The Sony ZV-E1 is a compact and lightweight camera with high-end video specifications. It features a 12MP Quad Bayer BSI full-frame sensor and an ISO range of 80-102,400 (extendable to 40-409,600). The ZV-E1 can record 4K/60p video with no crop and 4K/120p video with a small 1.1x crop. It offers 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording with various picture profiles. Nauticam NA-ZVE1 Underwater Housing
