NEW DELHI: The monsoon season in country’s northwestern parts has brought an unusually excessive rain, contributing to a surplus in monsoon rain figures. The region has experienced widespread landslides and flooding. The overflowing rivers like Beas, Sutlej, and others have submerged cities, villages, and farmland, damaging houses and vehicles.
Himachal Pradesh
* Rain fury has claimed 17 lives in last 3 days, damage estimated at Rs 4,000 crore
