In the interview, Yannick said that the audience will be able to see SRK and Vijay in the same frame. He mentioned that they were taking care of two segments – the prison fight and Pune train station. When he was prodded about Vijay’s casting in Jawan, Yannick smiled and said, “I am not sure about Thalapathy Vijay.”
According to several reports, it is being said that Thalapathy Vijay will be seen doing a cameo in Jawan. Reports suggest that Vijay didn’t charge any fee for his special appearance as he shares a great rapport with both director Atlee and SRK.
Not long ago, SRK had shared during his #AskSRK session on Twitter that he watched a lot of movies of Rajinikanth, Thalapathy Vijay, Allu Arjun and Yash to prepare for his character in Jawan. His answer left his fans curious whether he was dropping a subtle hint about Vijay’s cameo in the film.
A couple of days ago, SRK revealed the first look poster of co-actor Vijay Sethupathi and described his character as the ‘dealer of death’. “There’s no stopping him… or is there? Watch out! #VijaySethupathi,” SRK wrote on Twitter.
Directed by Atlee, Jawan also features Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, along with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra in key roles. It will hit the theatres on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
