The company launched the Volvo XC40 Recharge in July 2022 and commenced its deliveries in November 2022. Till now, around 365 units of the electric SUV has been delivered since deliveries started in Nov 2022, confirms the brand.
Powering the XC40 Recharge pure electric is a twin-motor, delivering a power output of 402 hp and 660 Nm of peak torque. The electric motors source power from a 78 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of up to 418 km on a single charge, as per WLTP. The Volvo XC40 Recharge can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds. Using a fast charger (150KW), the battery can be juiced up from 10 to 80 percent in around 28 minutes.

The manufacturer is offering a three-year warranty, a three-year Volvo service package, 3-year RSA and an 8-year battery warranty on the XC40 Recharge. Additionally, Volvo is also offering a 4-year digital service subscription and an 11 Kw wall box charger with the locally-assembled luxury electric SUV, the XC40 Recharge.

With the introduction of C40 Recharge, the company is in line with the commitment to have 100 percent electrified vehicles in the portfolio by 2030.
