Following O’Connor’s confirmation of her passing at the age of 56 on July 27, her haunting final tweets have resurfaced. In her last post, she discussed her struggle since losing her son to suicide and referred to him as the love of her life and the light of her soul. O’Connor also shared four songs dedicated to mothers who’ve lost their children to suicide. Despite her personal challenges, she had plans to tour and release an album in the future. O’Connor’s death was confirmed by her family in a statement, but no cause of death has been disclosed. The singer is survived by her three children.
