Google has introduced new security features for Android users that help detect unknown Bluetooth trackers like Apple AirTags. Android smartphones will now automatically alert users if a Bluetooth tracker is separated from its owner and traveling with the user. Users can view the last known location of the tracker on a map and make it emit a sound. This feature works for Apple AirTags as well, eliminating the need for third-party apps to track them. Google is also working on adding support for tracking third-party Bluetooth accessories from other companies on Android devices. Google and Apple have promised to continue improving the anti-stalking feature in future versions of Android and iOS.
