Original Hi-5 star Kathleen de Leon Jones has blown away viewers with a surprise appearance on The Morning Show.
The former children’s performer was live on the Channel Seven show with her daughter Keira after a 10-year absence from Australian television screens.

But while de Leon Jones was well-known during her stint on Hi-5 for her colourful outfits and over-the-stop hairstyles, she cut a very different figure on The Morning Show.
The mum-of-two’s dark locks are now much lighter, longer and curled – while her bright clothes have been swapped for a stylish floral blouse.
De Leon Jones, who is married to Savage Garden star Daniel Jones, showed off her amazing transformation during the interview to announce her daughter’s stage debut.

Twelve-year-old Keira is following in her famous parents’ footsteps and is starring in a production of Billy Elliot at The Star Gold Coast.
Chatting to hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies, de Leon Jones said the family are now living on the Gold Coast after a stint overseas.
“We’re loving life at the moment. We’ve been here for a few years now, we were in the States for 10 years,” she said.
“We just love it here. It feels like we’re on holiday.”

She went on to say that she and her husband are excited to see Keira and her eldest daughter, Mikayla, move into show business.
“I didn’t know they were going to go down this path to be honest,” she said.
“I mean, they always showed signs. It’s a fantastic medium to express yourself and it’s so fun.
“So when my daughters are actually in the performing arts, it’s music to both our ears.
“We’re very proud that they’re kind of following in our footsteps and they found a love for performing.”
