Toyota has also unveiled the 2024 Land Cruiser with a hybrid-only powertrain option. It gets a 4-cylinder, 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine which is paired to an electric motor and 1.87 kWh battery pack. Power is delivered via an 8-speed automatic transmission and the powertrain produces a combined output of 326 hp and 630 Nm of torque. Complimenting its go anywhere heritage, is Toyota’s advanced 4WD system which will be offered as standard equipment.

The interior is again a modern retro themed affair and loved to the gills with all the latest features that you would expect from an SUV of this segment. It gets a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, Heads Up Display, multiple-terrain AWD system, wireless charging and more. The new Land Cruiser is based on Toyota’s TNGA-F platform which gives it a ground clearance of 221 mm. It is 4,920 mm long and 2,139 mm wide. A wheelbase of 2,850 mm guarantees a lot of room inside the cabin of the 2024 Land Cruiser. In some international markets such as the US, the Land Cruiser will also feature the ‘Prado’ suffix and comes with two distinct front designs. Prices in the US start from USD 50,000 or Rs 41.31 lakh approximately.
