Your Monsoon Season Allies: Three Foods You Can Depend On

With Friendship Day just a few days away, celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar took to social media to share the three foods that are our friends during the monsoon season. In a video posted on Instagram, she urged everyone to focus on these foods in order to achieve happiness, satisfaction, and peace in their daily lives. The first food on the list is corn, which can be enjoyed boiled or roasted with salt and spices, or in the form of pattice or kadhi. Next, she mentioned wild and uncultivated vegetables such as kodu, patrode, and lingdi, which can be consumed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Lastly, she advised us to indulge in our childhood guilty pleasure of pakodes or fritters, recommending types like ajwain, aloo, pyaz, or paneer. She suggested enjoying them once a month or once a week, along with a cup of hot masala tea while enjoying the rain. By incorporating these three foods into our lives, we can foster a friendship with ourselves.
