GeForce Now Now Supports Streaming of Bethesda Games

Bethesda’s popular Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein games are coming to the GeForce Now cloud gaming service this month. According to Nvidia’s blog post, the specific titles in each franchise have not been revealed yet, but you will need the Ultimate or Priority membership to access them when they are released.

These new additions mark the first time Bethesda titles are available for streaming on GeForce Now. The arrival of these games is a result of a 10-year agreement between Nvidia and Microsoft, the owner of Bethesda, to bring Xbox PC games to the platform. Microsoft made this agreement in order to address regulatory concerns as it moves closer to acquiring Activision Blizzard. These new Bethesda game additions follow the introduction of GeForce Now’s Ultimate tier in January, which allows subscribers to play games remotely rendered on “SuperPOD” servers featuring RTX 4080-class graphics cards.

With GeForce Now Ultimate, you can stream games at up to native 4K resolution and 120 frames per second. There is also a 240fps option available using Nvidia’s Reflex feature. This tier also enables you to enjoy resource-intensive features like ray tracing and the company’s frame-interpolating DLSS 3 AI technology without the need to purchase a new graphics card for your computer. The initial rollout of the North American SuperPOD includes various cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Montreal, Portland, Oregon, San Jose, California, Ashburn, Virginia, and Newark, New Jersey. There are also six European locations available.

In addition to the new Bethesda games, GeForce Now subscribers currently have access to the full version of the highly anticipated Baldur’s Gate III, and 41 more titles will be released this month. However, please note that you will need to purchase these games before you can access them on GeForce Now.
