First electric car from Honda’s luxury brand teased

Honda’s upscale subsidiary, Acura, has released a teaser for its upcoming fully electric vehicle, the ZDX crossover. The official unveiling will take place at Monterey Car Week in California on August 17. Acura has confirmed that both a base model and a Type S performance variant will be available in 2024. The exterior design of the ZDX has been heavily influenced by the Acura Precision concept car. The teaser image reveals the Diamond Pentagon grille and chicane-style lighting graphics from the concept model. Acura has also announced that the ZDX will come equipped with Google built-in and Bang & Olufsen audio systems as standard. The model will feature a digital instrument cluster, a large central infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. Over-the-air updates will be available for continuous enhancement. Acura plans to sell all of its electric vehicles online starting with the ZDX launch.
