Ambareesh Murty, the co-founder and CEO of Pepperfry, passed away at the age of 51 due to a cardiac arrest in Leh. He co-founded Pepperfry, an online furniture and home decor marketplace, in 2011. The news of his sudden demise was shared by his co-founder, Ashish Shah, who expressed his grief and asked for prayers for Murty’s family. Murty had a successful business career, starting with Cadbury and later working for Prudential ICICI AMC, Levi’s, Britannia, and eBay India. He ventured into entrepreneurship by launching his own company, Origin Resources, before co-founding Pepperfry. He left a significant impact in the furniture and e-commerce industry.
