KIIS FM radio host Kyle Sandilands clearly likes to go big or go home.
The 52-year-old shocked co-host Jackie “O” Henderson on Wednesday by revealing how much he’s spending on son Otto’s first birthday, which falls on August 11.

Sandilands, who shares Otto with wife Tegan Kynaston, said the first birthday party was set to cost around $25,000.
He revealed he had hired a party planner for the day, with 24 children and 38 adults invited to attend.
“It’s only $25,000,” he quipped. “It’s a watered-down type of party.”
A shocked Jackie O responded sarcastically that his plans for Otto’s big day sounded very “low-key”.
Sandilands also noted that the $25,000 didn’t include other sundry party supplies that his wife had already bought.
“Like the lollies, the bonbonniere, and the plates and all these weird tablecloths – these are eight-foot tablecloths,” he said.
Despite spending a small fortune on the event, the shock jock admitted he wasn’t overly keen on being present.
“I said, ‘Do I have to come out of my room?’ and Tegan said ‘Yes’,” he revealed.
“I’m supposed to be engaged with the visitors.”
