In a new video posted to Instagram, Wilson appeared to be on the mend after needing stitches for a facial wound.

“Hi everybody, what’s up?” she began.

“I just wanted to say thank you for all your well wishes, I’ve actually been healing quite amazingly.”

Wilson zoomed in on her nose stitches, with the area still looking red but otherwise fine.

“The stitches have dissolved out from my on-set accident last week.

“I was shooting an independent movie (Bride Hard) in Savannah, Georgia, and in the middle of a night shoot, my last scene of the movie – I’d done all these kick-a** fight sequences – and then just in the last one, got hit in the face with the butt of a gun.

“It was a complete accident, and it was such a shock.

“But luckily I’m healing very well, so I just wanted to say thank you for everybody’s well wishes, and I hopefully will be totally fine.”

The plot of Bride Hard involves a mercenary group which infiltrates a lavish wedding, with the bride and groom unaware that the Maid of Honour (Wilson) is actually a secret agent who attempts to save the day.

In her video update, Wilson said she had loved making an action film but added that it could definitely be dangerous.

“It was really fun to do an action film, but god, it can really be a bit dangerous at times,” she said.

“But I’m all good, so thanks
