Bar Point is somewhere “where you can leave the stress of city life behind”, according to the property’s real estate listing.
“A great holiday destination where you can go fishing, swimming, boating, canoeing, water-skiing, bush walking, sailing or just relax-and yet only a short boat ride to Mooney Mooney or Brooklyn then approximately 60 minutes to the city by train or car,” it says.
But if it sounds too good to be true, it might be the case, as the property is only accessible by boat.
It sits adjacent to a shared wharf, which has one allocated berth.
Currently, the land features only a dilapidated cabin on site but it has the potential for someone to “build your dream here”.
However, there is a toilet on site, real estate agent Caelia Collins says.
