“My family,” she simply captioned the post along with paw print and heart emojis.

Kyrgios, 28, responded with, “My beautiful family”.

Friends and family took to the comments to praise the new photo and their new puppy.

“She’s perfect 🤩,” one said of Boo.

“That lil face!!” wrote a second.

“Awwh that tummy!🤗,” another said.

“Mum and dad,” New Zealand tennis player Ajeet Rai wrote.

Meanwhile, one fan was convinced that the dachshund had a strong resemblance to the tennis star, writing, “That doggie looks just like Nick 😘 I swear…look at their eyes! 🥰”.

Hatzi first shared the news that they had adopted a puppy on August 19, sharing a series of photos of Kyrigios cuddling Boo.

“Newest member of the family,” Hatzi wrote, tagging her partner.

Kyrgios shared on his Instagram story a picture with Boo writing, “My beautiful girl”.

The couple first met in 2021 after Hatzi advertised a mirror for sale online.

“I used to have an online home decor business and I would sell mirrors and candles and vases,” she told The Morning Show in April 2023.

“I took a photo – like a mirror selfie – and I posted it to my business Instagram.”

Hatzi explained that by chance the photo appeared on Kyrgios’ Instagram ‘Explore page’, completely stopping him in his tracks and prompting him to meet the girl in the photo.

“So he clicked on it and then messaged the business and was like, ‘Hey, can I buy this mirror?’”

The business owner said that when she responded he was quick to offer to collect the mirror from Sydney in person – despite living in Melbourne.

“He came to Sydney, he invited me out that night, so I went with a few friends,” she said.

The budding social media star said she chose to take some friends with her in case it went “badly”.

“But, everything went well, it was so friendly, it was so nice – I didn’t really expect him to be so friendly and nice.”
