Man accused of luring teens from inner Sydney fast food outlet and abusing them

A man charged with luring two young teens from a fast food outlet on Sydney’s bustling George St and sexually abusing them both at his house, is facing court on Thursday.

The boy and girl, both 15, were first approached by the 55-year-old stranger in 2021, but police allege the teen boy was sexually abused by the man a second time later that year.

“(The teens) were approached by a man, not known to them, at a fast food restaurant on George Street, Broadway on Friday, April 21, 2021,” NSW Police said.

“Later the same day, the two teens attended the man’s residence in Ultimo, where they were allegedly sexually assaulted.

“Police will further allege the teenage boy was further assaulted during another incident later that year.”

An investigation into the man was launched by detectives in June 2022.

The man’s Mitchell St home in Glebe was raided by police at 10am on Wednesday, and a commercial supply of LSD and a number of electronic devices were seized.
