Thomas Markle, 79, appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss his wishes. Article content “I’m heartbroken. Markle recalled how Meghan used to be compared to what she has become. “I never saw the kind of woman she turned into. I am shocked,” he said. “She is not the person I knew as my daughter.” He said she was always “very sweet and talented” and “very loving” – but no longer. Article content But Markle admits he remains open. “I am always here for her, I still love her, I’ll love her forever,” he said. “That will never change but I want her to reach out to me and let me see my grandkids and let me have a little peace.” Markle added: “People go to prison for five years and they’re forgiven.
