Woman’s vehicle collides with unmarked police car in Bella Vista

A woman has been treated by paramedics after her SUV rolled following a crash involving an unmarked police car in Sydney’s northwest.

Emergency services were called to Balmoral Road, Bella Vista about 7.45am Monday over a two-vehicle crash.

Officers arrived to find a Toyota SUV had rolled after a collision with an unmarked police Volkswagen sedan, police said.

Paramedics treated the driver and sole occupant of the SUV, a 37-year-old woman, at the scene.

The driver and the sole occupant of the police vehicle, a 35-year-old male senior constable, was taken to Norwest Private Hospital for further assessment.

“Both drivers were subject to roadside breath test, which returned negative results,” police said.
