A popular Melbourne denim brand sold at major retailers has gone into liquidation.
Nobody Denim went into liquidation on October 10 according to documents filed with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
Shane Deane and Nicholas Giasoumi from Dye and Co have been appointed as liquidators.

The company has been purchased by Queensland-based fashion brand Outland Denim, who will keep on five staff members according to fashion publication Ragtrader.
“We’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to take the brand forward,” the company said of the acquisition in a post on social media.
Outland Denim chief executive James Bartle said the purchase represents a “a major milestone” for the company.
“Nobody Denim boasts a loyal customer base of 60,000, a sizeable social media following and representation in over 150 Australian retail doors, including being one of the best-selling denim brands at David Jones,” he said.
“This strategic acquisition … promises to accelerate our growth to enable us to create even greater social and environmental change.”
Nobody Denim was founded in 1999 by John Condilis.
It is sold through major online retailers such as The Iconic and Revolve, and in store at David Jones and in various boutique stores.
