Suzuki recently revealed an image of the new Swift, the hatchback gets a re-designed front bumper and a new grille with chunky black surrounds and it also features re-designed smoked LED headlamps with DRLs. Below it gets the revised fog lamp housing with splitter.

The Suzuki logo is now on top of the bonnet and it will also get newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels. Other highlights include blacked-out ORVMs, roofs and pillars. It also features prominent character lines running across the door panels. At the rear, it gets a re-designed tailgate and a new bumper with a skid plate below. Other highlights include an integrated rear spoiler with a stop lamp, LED taillights with C-shaped DRLs and reflectors below.
Moving inside, the dashboard layout of the new Swift takes inspiration from Baleno, Fronx and Brezza SUVs. It gets a new dashboard layout with a floating infotainment system with sleek AC vents and HVAC controls below. Other expected features include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, steering-mounted controls, automatic climate controls and other convenience features.

The international spec Swift will also get features such as a 360-degree camera and multiple ADAS features such as dual sensor brake support, adaptive high beam assist, driver monitoring system, and collision mitigation braking system. The Indian-spec is not expected to come with all these features.
There’s no information regarding the powertrain and gearbox. The International spec-Swift might get multiple powertrain options which include a strong hybrid and a turbo petrol. In India, the new Swift will likely be powered by the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
The next-generation Suzuki Swift is expected to be launched by the start of 2024 in global markets. Talking about India’s launch timeline, Maruti Suzuki is expected to bring in the next-gen Swift by the second half of 2024 and is expected to go on sale shortly after. The price for the outgoing model starts from Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with the inclusion of new features and designs the price for the new Swift is expected to start from Rs 6.3 lakh (ex-showroom).
