These old Samsung flagship smartphones will not receive Android 14 update

Samsung recently confirmed the list of 20 smartphones which will receive the Android 14 update. The company has now revealed the name of two old flagship series which will not receive the latest Android update.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series of smartphones will not receive the Android 14 update. To recall, Samsung launched both the smartphone series in 2017.
In 2022, Samsung unveiled a revised software update policy for Galaxy devices, extending the support for major Android OS updates to most flagship models and even some mid range devices for up to four years. However, it’s worth noting that this policy did not encompass Samsung’s 2020 releases, which is why the arrival of Android 14 wasn’t anticipated for these specific smartphones.
