The trio are key members of the Matildas’ squad that captivated the nation during the recent run to the semi-finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

According to the event page, the three stars will showcase their exceptional skills, as well as discuss their personal journeys, illustrious careers and unforgettable moments on the field in a world-first event.

After making a splash on the field at the World Cup, Fowler also hit the headlines away from the football pitch.

The 20-year-old sent the rumour mill into overdrive after she was spotted with NRL superstar Nathan Cleary after the World Cup in August.

The much-publicised romance was finally confirmed earlier this month when they were photographed together hand-in-hand on a date in a Perth park.

Fowler has since returned to the UK to play for WSL club Manchester City, while Cleary spent time in the US during the NRL off-season.

The pair, who have yet to speak publicly on the relationship, will be back in the same city next month when Fowler arrives for the Open Air event.

Speaking to Sunrise on Saturday morning, Kennedy was looking forward to sharing stories with fans.

“It’s exciting for us to have that interaction with the fans,” she said.

“It is the first of its kind where we can interact with the fans and give them almost like a game day experience and, you know, show off a little bit of our skills and interact, tell our personal stories and just have that moment with them.

“Really excited to be able to interact with them at this event.”

Kennedy said the support for the Matildas has gone through the roof since the World Cup, as evidence by the recent sellout Olympic qualifiers in Perth.

“I think for us we go back to our clubs, I’m here in Manchester, we don’t get a chance to really soak it all in but returning home recently in Perth and seeing how many people show up at our games,” she said.

“And even just outside of our hotels and cafes and just the interest and support has gone through the roof so I’m really looking forward to this event, to see it again and have a chance to give back to those people who supported us and really embraced us throughout the World Cup.”

Meanwhile, Holly McNamara’s red-hot start to the A-League Women season has earned the Melbourne City gun a Matildas recall for upcoming friendlies against Canada.

Coach Tony Gustavsson has made limited changes to the star-studded squad that cruised through early Olympic qualifiers in Perth.

McNamara and Aivi Luik replace Cortnee Vine (hamstring) and Alex Chidiac (omitted), while train-on player Charlize Rule has been upgraded to a full squad member.

Australia take on Tokyo gold medal winners and world No.10 Canada at Starlight Stadium in Victoria on December 2 (AEDT), then at BC Place in Vancouver on December 6 (AEDT).
