Galaxy A34: Samsung Galaxy A34 starts receiving Android 14 update

Samsung has started rolling out Android 14 update for its smartphones and Galaxy A34 is the latest to join the list. As reported by Sammobile, Samsung has started rolling out One UI 6-based Android 14 update for Galaxy A34.
The update is being deployed across Europe and appears to have achieved widespread distribution, with sightings reported in Austria, Croatia, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Czechia, and the UK.The company has not yet revealed any details about the India roll out of the update.
The update comes with a build number labeled A346BXXU4BWK2 and it also brings the security patch for the month of November. The report also adds that Samsung may soon roll out the update in the other regions as well.
OneUI 6.0 update: What’s new
One UI 6, built upon Android 14, brings forth enhanced user-friendliness and intelligent enhancements for photo and video editing. This update showcases a myriad of new attributes, including a redesigned Quick panel and app interface, the introduction of the One UI Sans typeface, and the integration of AI capabilities like Photo Remaster and Object Eraser in the Gallery app. The Samsung Studio multi-layer video editor is now equipped to facilitate the incorporation of text, stickers, and music into the video timeline.
With One UI 6, users can engage in multitasking through a pop-up window, freely position the lock screen clock, and experience simplified app icon labels. The Weather app boasts a new widget and interactive map view, while the camera offers expanded alignment options and filters. Significant improvements have been made to the Calendar, Reminder, and Samsung Internet apps, and the My Files app now provides more intelligent recommendations.
Additionally, One UI 6 introduces advanced security features such as the Auto Blocker, bolstering an extra layer of protection, and customisable Bixby text call greetings. Furthermore, accessibility features have been expanded, featuring new options for magnification and cursor thickness.
