Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War of The Worlds is alive and kicking, and a new 17-date, 19-show tour has just been announced.
The 2025 run of shows will span the UK and Ireland in a monumental arena tour, where it will hit such venues as the Glasgow OVO Hydro, Manchester Co-Op Live, and London’s O2 Arena.
This tour announcement comes just in time for the 130-year anniversary of the original publication of HG Wells’ novel of the same name.
The epic adventure story will be conducted by Jeff Wayne and features Liam Neeson in 3D holography as The Journalist, who recounts the story of survival first-hand.
Saturated in threats by martians from a distant land, this harrowing and thrilling story could not be told at a grander scale than on UK arena stages.
