Big discounts of up to Rs 1.10 lakh on Tata Tigor EV, Tiago EV valid until 31 Dec: Details

Tata Motors recently announced a price hike across its model range in India in its bid to countervail the effects of rising input costs and overall inflation. However, before the revised prices kick in starting from January 2024, the carmaker is offering big disocunts of up to Rs 1.10 lakh on popular electric models such as the Tata Tiago EV and the Tata Tigor EV.
The discounts will only be applicable until 31 December 2023 or when until when the stock lasts.
Tigor EV: Up to Rs 1.10 lakh discount
The customers eyeing to purchase the Tigor EV compact sedan can avail big discounts of up to Rs 1.10 lakh, which includes a flat Rs 50,000 cash discount on the sticker price of the model and Rs 50,000 exchange bonus. Furthermore, there will be corporate discounts of up to Rs 10,000 on the model. At present, the prices for the model start from Rs 12.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The Tigor EV derives it power from a 26 kWh battery pack and boasts an ARAI-certified mileage of 315 km per charge.

Tiago EV: Up to Rs 77,000 discount
The Tiago electric hatchback gets total discounts of up to Rs 77,000 in December. Unlike the Tigor EV, this EV is deprived of a cash discount and gets a ‘Green Bonus’ of Rs 55,000 instead. It is essentially a means to incentivise the customers for choosing an EV. Besides that, customers can avail an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Further, the Tiago EV can be had with a corporate discount of Rs 7,000. At present, the model comes at a starting price of Rs 8.69 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Tiago EV is offered in two variants, namely the Medium Range and Long Range. While the 19.2kWh battery with the former is rated for 250 km range, the latter is equipped with a 24kWh battery which comes with an ARAI-certified range of 315 km.
