The OEM recently announced that the prices of its entire product range in India will be hiked come January 2024 in its bid to offset the rising input costs and overall inflation. Furthermore, the company said that the introductory offer for the Elevate will only be applicable until December 23, after which the model will get a price hike. A week later, the entire portfolio which includes the likes of Honda City, City Hybrid, and Amaze compact sedan will also be entitled to revised prices.
Honda is yet to reveal the percentage by which the prices will be hiked. We can expect an announcement on that later in December. In other news, the carmaker sold 8,734 units in November, registering a significant 22 percent growth as against the 7,051 units sold in the corresponding month last year. The Elevate is said to have played an important role in this growth.
