Hair styling is a vital part of many womens’ everyday beauty routines.
With the cost of salon treatments becoming increasingly expensive, many are experimenting with home styling.
Investing in hair tools to achieve salon-worthy styles is not cheap either, but can be less time-consuming and cost-effective over time.
The Dyson Airwap is one of the most popular premium tools, using air to achieve professional-looking blowdries, curls and volume from home.
Usually, the regular hair tool will set you back £479.99, but there’s currently a way to get the Airwrap Origin for £349.99 at Boots.
Buy: Dyson Airwrap™ Origin Multi-Styler (£349.99)
The version on offer is the newer Origin model, which comes with the three ‘essential’ attachments – the smoothing dryer, 30mm Airwrap barrel and round volumising brush.
There are less attachments than with the standard models, however it can still create smooth looks, blowdries and curls, plus the Boots offer also currently includes free next day delivery.
If the £50 discount and delivery offer weren’t enough to tempt you, Boots is also running an offer for advantage card holders to get £10 worth of points per £60 spend – which would mean £50 in advantage card points when buying the Dyson Airwrap™ Origin Multi-Styler.
84 percent of Boots shoppers say they would recommend the hair tool, with some describing it as ‘leaving hair so shiny’.
Brandified said: ”I’m a hair stylist and I absolutely love my new Dyson! It’s quiet and it takes half the time to dry and style my hair and it leaves my hair so shiny!”
Trims55 commented: ”I purchased the Volume + Shape Airwrap after a trial run, using my daughter’s. The price was daunting and I feared it was not for me as I have fine, limp and quite short hair, styled in a bob. It is something I now would not be without. The round brush particularly, gives my hair more lift and volume and I use the smoothing brush to settle my style. I love that, unlike some products, it does not overheat my hair, or pull on the roots and leaves it soft and the style lasts longer. It does take a few attempts to get the hang of it but having a hand free, (as opposes to radial brush and drier) makes it easier. A luxury buy but worth it to me for the finished look every time.”
Gina also added: ”I got this a month ago and slowly learning how to get the best out of it. It helps my daughters curly hair a lot. My hair is straight – the straightening attachments are great. The curling attachments are good but my curls drop by the end of the evening.”
Although the comments are mostly positive, some reviewers found that the Dyson Airwrap didn’t hold styles for long on their straight hair, it might be worth trying a hair tool with more direct heat like the BaByliss Titanium Brilliance Straight & Curl Hair Straighteners.
