Hiroshi Hayase, a display specialist at Omdia, has made this prediction based on sources from within the supply chain.

The LCD panel might seem a step backward from the Switch OLED, but the larger screen would come with a higher resolution and is expected to enhance the gaming experience for handheld gamers.
