New Delhi: Samsung has unveiled a new lineup of AI-powered home appliances as part of its Bespoke series. These smart appliances come equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, internal cameras, AI chips, and compatibility with the SmartThings app to provide enhanced features and connectivity for a truly intelligent home experience.
Samsung Introduces Bespoke AI Appliances
The latest Samsung Bespoke AI appliances add plenty of new features to boring home devices like air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and more. By leveraging AI technology, these appliances aim to anticipate and meet the needs of users in various spaces throughout the home. Many of the new appliances feature a connected 7-inch LCD display called the AI Home. This intuitive screen provides easy access and control over the entire connected ecosystem. Users can view a 3D map of their house, locate all connected appliances, and control them remotely. For example, while cooking in the kitchen, users could turn on the air conditioner in another room directly from the AI Home screen on the induction range. The AI Home display also enables multitasking – users can play music, watch videos, refer to recipes, and even answer phone calls, all while continuing their household chores. This makes daily tasks not only more convenient but also more enjoyable.

Samsung’s new AI-powered appliances offer a range of smart features tailored to each product:
- The Bespoke AI refrigerator uses an internal AI camera to recognise up to 33 food items, keep track of their freshness, and suggest recipes based on the ingredients you have on hand.
- The microwave can automatically customize recipes to “low fat” versions and provide personalized diet recommendations.
- The front load washing machines learn your laundry routines over time and evolve wash cycles to suit your habits. The AI Wash feature optimizes water levels, soiling levels, and detergent amounts to create custom wash recipes.
- The AI-powered air conditioner can send notifications to start or turn off your appliances based on your proximity to home, using the SmartThings app.
