In what is quickly becoming a beloved Club tradition, members recently gathered after-hours in New York at the Costume Institute for our annual Night at The Museum event to celebrate its new spring exhibition—and boy, was it one to remember!
With the doors of The Met closed to the public, those Club members fortunate enough to secure invitations to our after-hours tour were warmly welcomed by Vogue staff, presented with a flute of champagne and a tray of canapes, and then guided to the Great Hall (decorated by the one and only Raul Avila, the mastermind behind the Met’s decor).
Arm in arm, members—dressed to the nines, of course—trailed through the blooming florals of the foyer and into the exhibition rooms. On the agenda for the night: a deep-dive into the wonderments of the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion exhibition, led by the Vogue team. Conversation could be heard from every corner of the Met (oohs and ahhs were in abundance) as Club members reveled in the beauty of four centuries of fashion history.
After all was said, done, and seen, members flowed merrily back onto the streets of Fifth Avenue, capturing a few final photos before departing one of fashion’s most revered exhibitions. It reminded us of one of the things we love most about our Vogue Club members: You always rise to the occasion. See some of the best pics from the night below!
