Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar announced the arrival of their baby boy, while revealing his name. The duo penned a note revealing that their son was born on ‘akshay tritiya’ which is on May 10 and that they’ve named him ‘Vedavid‘. As Yami and Aditya broke the news, several fans and their friends from the industry showered the couple with immense love.

According to Shiva puran, ‘Vedavid’ means, ‘someone who is well versed with the vedas’. Vid means ‘knowledge’. This is also considered one of the names of Lord Vishnu. Yami and Aditya are staunch believers of Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga and this side of theirs has also reflected in their son’s name.
On work front, Yami was last seen in ‘Article 370’, which was produced by Aditya. The couple had also announced the pregnancy at the trailer launch of the movie.
