Milanese Label Del Core Celebrated its New York Flagship Opening With Back-to-Back Parties

On Thursday evening, Daniel Del Core, creative director of Del Core, celebrated the opening of the eponymous brand’s New York City flagship—the label’s first US store—with not one but two parties. Del Core’s opening comes off of a stellar red carpet awards season, which saw the likes of Florence Pugh, Eiza González, and Demi Moore dressed in Del Core.

The festivities commenced with an intimate cocktail party at the newly opened Madison Avenue Del Core townhouse. Acclaimed chef Woldy Reyes of Woldy Kusina curated a stunning food installation, drawing inspiration from the brand’s iconic sculptural silhouettes. Guests immersed themselves in the brand’s artistry; meanwhile, actors Cara Buono and Rebecca Hall, along with model Bruna Tenorio, explored the ready-to-wear and made-to-order floors. As the cocktail event concluded, the party was far from over, with an after-party immediately following downtown.

Party-goers continued the evening at Jac’s on Bond. The NoHo hotspot was transformed into “club Del Core,” with the brand’s iconic label glowing neon upon entrance (and there were even Del Core object balls at the pool table). Guests enjoyed a DJ set by Ruby Aldridge and a performance by Zsela, dressed in Del Core as the designer’s muses. Model Daria Strokous stepped behind the lens for the evening, capturing candids of fellow industry friends Sara Grace Wallerstedt and Jacquelyn Jablonski. Meanwhile, And Just Like That actors Katerina Tannenbaum and Sarita Choudhury sipped on the venue’s celebrated caprese martini.

Attendees included Kathryn Gallagher, Morgan Spector, Rebecca Hall, Tanya Ravichandran, Alex Edelman, Isabella Massenet, Charlotte Groeneveld, Aaron Rose Philip, Igee Okafor, Renata Zandonadi Quaglia, Kate Young, Sara Grace Wallerstedt, Simona Andrejic, DJ va$htie, and more.

“It’s a very big milestone, and I love how this city has welcomed the brand—so I just hope that it will keep going like that,” Daniel Del Core told Vogue. “The last winter show had quite a few pieces for the new New York girl. A lot of people backstage agreed, saying, ‘This show is so New York!’”
