Actress Vidya Balan, who is set to return as ‘OG’ Manjulika in Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘, took to social media to shower praise and review Kartik’s recent release, ‘Chandu Champion‘ helmed by Kabir Khan.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Vidya Balan shared a video where she can be heard praising Kartik Aaryan for his stellar performance in ‘Chandu Champion’.
In the video, Vidya Balan said, “Big congratulations to Kartik, Kabir, and the entire team of Chandu Champion. I cannot even imagine the kind of hard work that went into the film, but I felt it showed in every frame. What a story! Oh my god!”
“So inspiring. I can’t believe it’s someone’s actual life story, and they went through so much. It’s a very gripping and engaging film. I was glued from the word go. So, if you haven’t seen it yet, please do. A big hug to Kartik, and more power to you and everyone who made Chandu Champion. I enjoyed the film.” Vidya added.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan’s latest sports drama, Chandu Champion, has been garnering positive reviews since its release on June 14. The film, directed by Kabir Khan, is maintaining momentum at the ticket counters and has made a total domestic box office collection of Rs 32.75 crore.
For the uninitiated, ‘Chandu Champion’ is based on the real-life story of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. It also stars Vijay Raaz and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
Besides this, Kartik and Vidya are set to co-star in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film also features Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit Nene in pivotal roles.
