Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt joined millions of cricket fans in celebrating Team India‘s nail-biting win over South Africa in the men’s T20 World Cup final. The actress joined a long list of Bollywood celebrities in extending their wishes to the boys in blue for their win that ended a long 17-year wait for the second victory.
On Sunday morning, Alia took to her social media handle to express her joy and congratulate the team.She wrote, “hum jeeeeeeeet gayeeeeeeeee… Tears of joy tears of everything!!!! Congratulations team INDIA!!!!!!! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 What a win!!!!!”

While many fans appreciated her enthusiasm and echoed her sentiments, the timing of her post sparked a wave of trolling from some netizens. One commented sarcastically, “Apko ABH Pata chla?” Another wrote, “Acha hua bata diya hame to pata hi nahi tha, itni jaldi kyon bataya,” mocking the timing of her message.

Another quipped, “So gyi thi Alia abhi uth kr dekha are jeet gya ka Post kr du,” suggesting that Alia had just woken up and decided to post about the victory.
