Earlier, the AX7 range of the XUV700 started at an ex-showroom price of Rs 21.44 lakh. Now with the discount, the price is reduced to Rs 19.69 lakh, marking a decrease of up to Rs 2.2 lakh across all AX7 variants, which include petrol, diesel, manual, automatic, six-seater, seven-seater, Luxury, and AWD.Consequently, the top-spec AX7 Luxury AWD variant now costs Rs 24.99 lakh, down from its previous price of Rs 26.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
Let’s start with Bengaluru, the on-road price for the top-of-the-line AX7 L AWD diesel variant of the Mahindra XUV 700 is Rs 31.5 lakh. In Delhi the micro SUV costs 29.62, in Mumbai it costs Rs 30.2 lakh, in Chennai it costs Rs 31.5 lakh, in Hyderabad the SUV costs Rs 31 lakh, in Kolkata it costs 27.87 lakh, in Lucknow it costs 28.97 lakh, in Jaipur the SUV costs 29.92 lakh, in Ahmedabad the SUV costs 28 lakh and in Indore, the SUV costs 30.87 lakh (All prices mentioned here are on-road, please note that the prices are gathered from local dealers and prices might vary a little).
In terms of features, the top-of-the-line AX7 model gets Level-1 ADAS, twin digital screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, ventilated seats, seven airbags, leatherette seat upholstery, 3D sound system with 12 speakers and many more.

The XUV 700 has two engine options – a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 200hp of power and 380Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
The other engine is a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which is offered with two states of tune. The lower state unit (reserved for the entry-level variant) produces 155hp and 360Nm, while the unit in higher variants produces 185hp, 420Nm and 450Nm with the automatic gearbox. Just like petrol, the diesel engine too is offered a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
