Ariana Madix is finally revealing her stance Love Island USA’s Rob Rausch‘s denim overalls, which he wears multiple times throughout the season.
The reality TV show host, 40, recalls being in the Love Island Villa and surprising the girls in their dressing room just before the boys entered Casa Amor during the current season of the show. While with the Islanders, she jokingly asked if there was a pair of overalls she could “get rid of.”
“It’s a lot,” Madix tells PEOPLE exclusively of Rob’s signature look on season 6 of the Peacock show. “Listen, maybe once is fine, but I feel like this man just will not stop wearing the overalls.”
“I am like, stop trying to make overalls a thing. It’s not a thing, it’s not going to be,” she adds.
But Madix isn’t the only one who has noticed Rob’s repetitive outfit choices. Among the Islanders, who often share clothes, she notes that no one else has picked up or worn the overalls.
And it doesn’t end there — across social media, the show’s audience has been vocal about the Islanders’ style, or lack thereof.
“Girl everybody on love island got a never ending closet and then there’s rob wearing them hot ass overalls for the tenth day in a row,” one user wrote on X, previously known as Twitter.
“Rob and these overalls again?????????” another person commented.
Someone else posted, “It’s clear rob didn’t pack enough clothes. I wanna burn them overalls.”

Phoebe Siegel, a cast member on season 4 of Love Island USA, shared in a June 2024 TikTok videothat talent managers and producers came to the contestants’ hotel rooms before appearing on the show and went “through every single item that’s packed” in their luggage.
“They do this because you are not to have any clothing ‘brands’ that are visible on the show,” she explained. “Same thing goes for makeup. All of your makeup gets black tape.”
Siegel continued, “So if you bring a Charlotte Tilbury foundation, there’s a black duct tape that goes over the brand, so anything that you see on the show isn’t branded.”

Another previous Love Island UK season 9 cast member, Samie Elishi, shared in a YouTube video that contestants are only allowed to bring two suitcases of clothing for the duration of their time on the show, which for some, can span up to eight weeks.
On Love Island UK, she says Islanders were also given access to pre-loved fashion from eBay, with Samie sharing that it got “refreshed” either every week or every other week.
