The company reported adjusted earnings of $3 per share, excluding items, on revenue of $2.8 billion in the second quarter. Analysts polled by FactSet forecast earnings of $2.75 per share on revenue of $2.84 billion. The company also announced additional restructuring actions to generate annualized savings of $100 million in an effort to reduce costs amid soft market conditions. Juniper Networks — The networking technology company fell 1%. Juniper posted adjusted earnings of 31 cents per share on revenue of $1.19 billion in the second quarter.
