Zareen Khan recently opened up about her experiences of working with Salman Khan on Veer (2010) and Ready (2011). She admitted feeling intimidated by Salman at first but was pleasantly surprised by his kindness on set.
In a chat with comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya, Zareen revealed that being around Salman often felt intimidating.However, she noted that Salman would make an effort to ease her nerves if he noticed she was scared.
Zareen shared, “I was like a creep around him during the shoot. I remember in-between shots, in the resting period, he would sit outside his vanity with the crew and I would sit there with them too. Salman would be doing his thing and and I would keep staring at him and he would ask me, ‘kya hua? (What happened?)’ and I would say, ‘I can’t believe I am sitting opposite you. I’ve only seen you in movies and my whole family is a huge fan’.”

She also reminisced about her college days before she entered the film industry. Zareen recalled chasing Salman during his bike rides on Carter Road in Bandra, Mumbai. “I remember how he would ride his cycle on Carter Road (Bandra, Mumbai), and I had chased him. I am sure he doesn’t even remember because I was double or triple my size. And suddenly I am sitting opposite Salman Khan. So I would keep thinking about all that and would keep staring at him. I never thought (I’d one day work with him),” she revealed.

The last time Zareen appeared on screen was in Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele in 2021.
