Janhvi Kapoor visits Tirumala Tirupati temple on Sridevi’s birthday, drops childhood memory – PICS inside

It’s Sridevi‘s birth anniversary and the actress would have been 61 years old today. The actress, because of her South-indian roots, had this huge inclination towards Lord Balaji and Tirumala Tirupati temple. Her daughter Janhvi has taken up that as legacy and now she also visits Tirupati temple several times in the year.
On Sridevi’s birthday, Janhvi did her ritual of visiting Lord Balaji.She dropped some pictures along with a childhood picture with her mom. Janhvi wrote, “Happy birthday Mumma ❤️ I love you.”

Janhvi had earlier said in an interview that it’s like a ritual for her to visit the temple on her mom’s birthday. She had said during an interview with Prabhat Khabar, “I take the script of each of my film to Tirupati. When she worked, mom used to visit the temple on her birthday every year. But, that stopped after her marriage. An inner voice told me to visit the temple on her birthday and I started going there on her birthdays. Now, the new year has also been added to that list.”
Earlier this year, she had told Curly Tales during a chat, “Jab bulawa aata hai (I feel an inner calling) that tells me I need to visit Tirupati, climb the stairs, and seek the auspicious sight of the deity. I have already been to Tirupati three times this year, and I will go again on mom’s birthday.”
On work front, Janhvi is currently working on ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ which sees her collaborate with Varun Dhawan again after ‘Bawaal’.
