Despite releasing a new album in 2020, AC/DC haven’t toured since 2016.
Nevertheless, hopes of a new one are rising after the band performed their first live show in seven years at Power Trip Festival in Indio, California last October.
A source previously told Daily Star: “For a while it looked like an AC/DC would never play live again.
“Technology has helped Brian [who had to step back from live concerts due to hearing problems] get back to doing what he loves best. More dates are being looked at for next year, some big shows.”
By the sounds of it, the rock legends are planning on a 2024 world tour as further dates have leaked.
Last November, the mayor of Munich let slip that AC/DC would be playing in the German city on June 12, 2024, admitting at a council meeting that he didn’t know it was supposed to be secret.
Assuming this is accurate, it will be the first time the band have played in Europe with Brian Johnson on vocals since 2015.
Meanwhile, four more tour dates have reportedly leaked and it sounds like AC/DC are heading back to South America.
According to the Brazilian publication O Globe, AC/DC will perform four concerts across the country this year.
Two are set to take place in São Paulo’s Morumbi Stadium and a couple of dates have been booked for Rock In Rio in Rio de Janerio.
Of course, none of these concerts, let alone a 2024 tour, have officially been announced by the band, but considering the leaks we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some news from Angus Young and the boys in the coming weeks.
