Amazon frequently drops unexpected deals on vinyl and iconic bands’ best albums to date. And this time around, AC/DC has been blessed with a price cut.
The Australian band’s sixth album, Highway to Hell, has just had its vinyl price cut by 15 percent, bringing its total to less than £30.
The iconic record of course contains the title track, which took the world by storm when it was first released back in 1979.
Highway to Hell also has Girls Got Rhythm and Touch Too Much on it, making it one of the band’s most powerful albums to date.
What’s even more exciting about this deal is that the golden vinyl is actually the 50th anniversary edition of its release.
This limited edition vinyl also comes with a 12″x12″ print featuring enhanced AC/DC 50 artwork.
These frame-worthy pieces of art likely cannot be purchased anywhere else, and are limited, so won’t last forever.
Considering the price has been cut from £32.93 to £27.99, this is a powerful deal that fans may not see again anytime soon. You can buy the album using the link below:
While Highway To Hell has become one of the most iconic album and song titles of all time, the band’s record label were not happy with it.
Guitarist Angus Young told Guitar World: “Just because you call an album Highway To Hell you get all kinds of grief. And all we’d done is describe what it’s like to be on the road for four years like we’d been.
“A lot of it was bus and car touring, with no real break. You crawl off the bus at four o’clock in the morning, and some journalist’s doing a story and he says: ‘What would you call an AC/DC tour?’ Well, it was a highway to hell. It really was. When you’re sleeping with the singer’s socks two inches from your nose, that’s pretty close to hell.”
If you’d rather listen to AC/DC for free, you can do so using Amazon Music Unlimited’s new five-month free trial.
The music streaming service is currently hosting a new deal which allows music fans to get multiple months of the premium service for free.
