Aditi Rao Hydari is getting immense love for her portrayal of ‘Bibbojaan’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s ‘Heeramandi‘. While her ‘Gajgamini’ walk has gone viral, her freedom fighter side which she portrayed on the show earned her immense respect as well. While Aditi is soaking herself in this sort of love, the actress has now revealed how her fiancé, actor Siddharth reacted to ‘Heeramandi’.
The actress said that he binged watched on the show and couldn’t really speak at first. She said in an interview with Galatta, “His eyes were all red and swollen. Siddhu called me after he binged watched it and actually couldn’t speak. e just said, I wanna come and meet Sanjay, Sir. After that he did manage to say something, he said later , he was like now we have two freedom fighters in our family. Bhagat Singh and Bibbo Jaan.”
Siddharth had dropped his reaction on social media as well earlier. He said, “Grateful that we are living in the age of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Saab. A letter of love and freedom told in the confines of a bygone age with images that mesmerize the heart, music, and verse that stir the soul—a work of art that would make K. Asif Saab proud. Love and congratulations to the whole team!”
Aditi and Siddharth got engaged in a temple which is 400 years old. Rumours were rife that they had gotten married but the couple clarified that they were only engaged. Aditi had said during a chat with Bollywood Bubble that she wanted to have a special beginning and hence got married at her family temple.
