Following her father, former Australian batsman Matthew Hayden’s admiration for Mahindra SUVs, Grace Hayden, a TV presenter, recently took delivery of her XUV700 SUV in Australia. Her father, who also happens to be a brand ambassador for the company in Australia, recently purchased a Scorpio N prior to his country’s World Cup triumph in India. The Australian cricket legend is known to be a big admirer of Mahindra vehicles and he had expressed his admiration for the manufacturer during his visit to India last month.
Australia is one of the key export markets for the home-grown carmaker and it exports several models to the country. Grace Hayden can be seen taking delivery of a brand new XUV700 in a video shared by Mahindra Australia on its YouTube channel. In the video, she shares that she recently got an opportunity to visit Mahindra’s manufacturing facility in India. Furthermore, she said that a thrilling test drive experience solidified her decision to make the XUV700 her own.

Grace opted for the Midnight Black shade, which actually boasts a metallic blue undertone. In 2021, Mahindra debuted the XUV700 in India, and the SUV quickly gained immense popularity among customers, leading to a consistently lengthy waiting period of over a year. In the Indian market, the SUV is priced at a base starting point of Rs 14 lakh, ex-showroom, for the MX Petrol trim. In Australia, the SUV is offered in two trims: AX7 and AX7L. The drive-away prices for the AX7 variant commence at AD 36,990, approximately equivalent to Rs 20.37 lakh.
